Of a 14-acre private island, Dolphin Island is Fiji’s foremost exclusive retreat, where just eight guests can roam a sumptuous, Virginia Fisher-designed main Bure and four private “guest bures”—traditional Fijian straw and wood bungalows—each with an outdoor shower and a king-sized four-poster bed draped in white linen. Beyond, an infinity pool borders a soft white sand beach, and impossibly turquoise waters teem with vibrant marine life. Days are tailored to the individual: bespoke menus by a private chef, deep-sea fishing, or sunrise yoga and meditation followed by massage.
