On June 4, 2026, Four Seasons and Spanish real estate investment firm Blasson unveiled plans for a new luxury hotel in Seville, Spain. This development marks an expansion of Four Seasons' presence in the country, aiming to introduce its signature service to one of Spain's most historically rich cities.

The forthcoming Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will occupy a landmark building within the Plaza Nueva, centrally located in the city's Arenal Quarter. It will place guests within easy reach of Seville's prominent cultural and culinary attractions, including UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Seville Cathedral, Archivo de Indias, and the Royal Alcázar.

According to Yahoo Finance, Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons, highlighted Seville's cultural significance, calling it "a city defined by its culture, history, and beauty." He emphasized that the project reflects a commitment to building a diverse portfolio of global luxury experiences.

The hotel will feature approximately 55 intimate guest rooms spread across five floors. The mid-20th-century building will undergo an extensive revitalization. Plans include open-air terraces and meticulously redesigned guestrooms ranging from 40 to 117 square meters, culminating in an expansive Presidential Suite. Madrid-based Lamela will lead the architectural work, with interiors by AD100 honoree Belén Domecq.

Yahoo Finance reports that Enrique Benjumea, Founding Partner at Blasson, views the investment as a testament to Seville's growth as a premier luxury tourism destination. He underlined the project's dedication to sustainable tourism and its aim to deliver distinctive hospitality, culinary, and wellness experiences unique to Four Seasons.

Our take: Seville presents a compelling opportunity for Four Seasons. Its rich cultural heritage and strong luxury tourism appeal align perfectly with the brand's sophisticated clientele. The partnership with Blasson, focused on revitalizing a historic building, suggests an approach that respects local character while infusing contemporary luxury. This expansion strengthens Four Seasons' European footprint and capitalizes on Spain's enduring allure.
