On May 18, 2026, Mandarin Oriental Residences, West Palm Beach, released its first interior renderings. The 31-story luxury condominium tower, located at 5400 North Flagler Drive, is set to rise along the Intracoastal Waterway. Developed by Great Gulf and designed by Safdie Architects, the development will feature 87 residences.
Studio Munge is behind the interior design, emphasizing a contemporary palette of layered materials, textured finishes, and spaces informed by hospitality. Natural light, privacy, and layouts optimized for waterfront views are central to the design philosophy, according to Florida YIMBY.
Residences will span 2,300 to over 5,800 square feet, offering two to four bedrooms. Additionally, the project includes two multi-level private villas and a full-floor penthouse. Each unit will feature private elevator access, floor-to-ceiling glass, and wraparound terraces, as reported by Florida YIMBY.
Our take: Priced from approximately $3.5 million, these residences underscore the continued demand for ultra-luxury living in South Florida. Mandarin Oriental's entry into the West Palm Beach residential market suggests a further solidification of the area as a prime destination for high-net-worth individuals seeking premium branded lifestyle experiences.
