Six Senses Spa Kyoto, located within the nature-inspired luxury resort Six Senses Kyoto, is now taking reservations for special visiting practitioner sessions starting October 1, 2026. The sessions, previously offered at Six Senses properties and other hotels and spas around the world — including in Italy, the Maldives, and Thailand — will now be available in Kyoto.
Six Senses, a pioneer of wellness and sustainability in the hospitality industry, runs a Visiting Practitioner (VP) program that regularly invites specialists from around the world to its properties, offering guests cutting-edge, holistic wellness. Following Six Senses' standards, these practitioners bring advanced expertise and hospitality to both hotel guests and local residents alike.

From October 1, Six Senses Spa Kyoto will offer integrative bodywork sessions led by Govinda Chiesa, who draws on a broad range of disciplines including osteopathy and biosomatics.
Born into a family of healers in Italy, Govinda practices multidisciplinary bodywork and somatic healing. Through years of experience, he has developed his own method that bridges traditional wisdom and modern techniques. Drawing on a deep understanding of the relationship between body and emotion, he helps guests reconnect with themselves by restoring that balance, listening closely to the body's subtle signals while integrating approaches from osteopathy, Ortho-Bionomy, and trigger point therapy.
Each session is tailored to the individual guest, going beyond a typical spa treatment to become a journey of engaging with one's own body and deepening inner awareness.

**Period:** October 1 (Thursday) to November 4 (Wednesday), 2026
**Mitsudomoe Resonance Touch** (60 min) ¥41,000 / (90 min) ¥53,000
An intuitive bodywork method developed by Govinda that encourages a deep dialogue between body and mind. It combines oil treatment, expansive mobilization, and awareness of subtle movement to support full-body release, using the body's own rhythm to build awareness and guide guests toward a comfortable state.
**Ethnic Osteopathy** (60 min) ¥41,000 / (90 min) ¥53,000
Ethnic & Tribal Osteopathy blends ancient healing wisdom with the principles of modern osteopathy, focusing mainly on the Tendino-Muscular Meridians. It works on energy flow and fascial patterns to release deep tension and restore balance.
