Behind a Haussmannian facade, the former Thiers foundation has been reimagined by Laura Gonzalez with a “folie” spirit—mixing neoclassical, Orientalist, and Art Deco touches. Think: hot air balloon-patterned wallpaper, a 14-meter-high library, and an indoor-all day dining room serving reinvented French classics. Its maximalist design extends to the Guerlain spa, where guests can enjoy a serene escape. Its Guerlain spa, clad in a mosaic of more than 100,000 tesserae, offers exclusive Guerlain treatments focused on ceremony. The “Imperial Youth” ceremony, for instance, focuses on anti-aging with a four-step massage protocol designed to sculpt and tone the face.
