Park Hyatt Bets Big on All-Inclusive Luxury in Riviera Maya
Park Hyatt is entering the all-inclusive market, with its first such property slated for Mexico's Riviera Maya. This move marks a strategic shift for the brand, aiming to redefine upscale experiences in a traditionally mass-market segment.

Announced August 25, 2026, Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is set to debut in November 2026, marking a significant first for the brand. This property will be Park Hyatt's inaugural all-inclusive resort, an intriguing expansion of its luxury portfolio. Sleeper Magazine reports this venture aims to infuse Park Hyatt's signature culinary focus, modern luxury ethos, and service standards into the all-inclusive model.
Positioned between Cancún and Puerto Morelos within the exclusive AMAI enclave, the resort emphasizes seclusion and a seamless transition from the everyday. According to Sleeper Magazine, the architecture embraces the winding mangrove coastline, fostering an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquility. The design commitment extends to using regionally-sourced materials and traditional Mexican construction techniques, with interiors showcasing works by Yucatan-based artists and regional artisans.
The resort will feature 148 guest rooms and suites, all offering Caribbean Sea views. Select accommodations will include private swimming and plunge pools. A 2,300 sq ft penthouse is highlighted as the property's top-tier offering. Wellness amenities include an open-air spa garden, hydrotherapy suite, and dedicated treatment rooms, complemented by versatile indoor and alfresco event spaces.
This Riviera Maya opening is part of a broader expansion for the brand, with Park Hyatt Mexico City scheduled for early 2027. Additionally, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc in Vietnam and Park Hyatt Vancouver are also slated to open their doors in 2027, according to Sleeper Magazine.
