Zemi Beach House marries modernity with regional materials. Hand-cut, responsibly sourced, and re-used local stone and wood are employed throughout the design by Rich Hipp, with a 300-year-old Thai house as the spa’s focal point. Its award-winning 15,000-square-foot Zemi Thai House Spa brings the ancient traditions of the Far East to the shores of Anguilla, with signature treatments that incorporate the natural elements of the island into its product. The “immunity booster” treatment, for instance, uses mineral-rich seawater drawn directly from the sea, a practice that defines thalassotherapy: a detoxifying concept that promotes overall well-being. Additionally, Zemi Beach House is the only hotel on the island offering a proper hammam to its residents. The property also offers sunrise and sunset yoga and Pilates in an open-air pavilion facing the sea.
