Announced August 3, 2026, Dior has launched its first Venice spa, situated within the Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel. This addition expands Dior's global wellness presence, opening to both hotel guests and the public as part of the Hotel Cipriani's ongoing renovation.
The spa occupies two floors of the iconic property. Architect and interior designer Peter Marino, responsible for the space, blended Dior's distinctive aesthetic with Venetian influences, drawing inspiration from Rococo heritage, mid-century design, and contemporary style, according to Signature Luxury Travel & Style.
The facility includes five treatment rooms and a boutique offering Dior's fragrance, skincare, and makeup collections. A new entrance provides direct access to the Hotel Cipriani’s Casanova Gardens and the famous swimming pool.
Dior’s established wellness pillars—Haute Definition, Haute Precision, and Haute Touch—form the core of the treatment menu. These include signature face and body services such as New Look, Kobi-Dior, and Dior Powered by Hydrafacial.
Three treatments were exclusively developed for the Venice location, reportedly inspired by Christian Dior's connection to the city. These include the Mascarade, a technology-driven facial utilizing LED light therapy, diamond abrasion, microcurrent, and cryotherapy. The Grand Bal is positioned as a special-occasion ritual, combining scalp, facial, hand treatments, and professional hairstyling and makeup. Lastly, Théatre Corporel is a four-hand body treatment, performed by two therapists, incorporating exfoliation, massage, and stretching techniques.
Guests can also opt for Dior Measurements, an advanced skin analysis using Cortex technology. This assesses hydration, elasticity, pH, and collagen levels, allowing Dior Wellness Experts to tailor treatments accordingly.
Our take: Dior's continued expansion into luxury wellness, particularly within a storied property like the Hotel Cipriani, underscores a broader trend. High fashion houses are increasingly leveraging their brand equity beyond apparel and accessories, diversifying into experiential luxury. This move positions Dior not just as a beauty provider, but as a lifestyle curator, offering an immersive brand experience that extends to personal well-being. The emphasis on exclusive, location-specific treatments also caters to the desire for unique, destination-driven luxury.
