Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere: A New Luxury Destination Near Liverpool

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will unveil its fourth UK property, Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, with a grand opening slated for July 10. This new luxury resort, situated on 157 acres overlooking The Mere Lake, is approximately an hour's drive from Liverpool.

The property has undergone a significant multi-million-pound renovation to introduce 116 guest rooms, 23 suites, and a comprehensive array of amenities. Guests can anticipate a diverse culinary landscape, including a restaurant helmed by Gordon Ramsay, afternoon tea at The Orangery, and a Club Lounge offering both classic British and Indian fare.

Beyond dining, the resort features an 18-hole championship golf course and the Fairmont Spa, complete with a Spa Bar. The grand ballroom spans 1,000 square meters, designed to host events for up to 1,000 guests, from weddings to conferences.
