Announced April 23, 2026, Aman will open Amansanu in the Texas Hill Country. This marks the brand's sixth U.S. property and its inaugural ranch-inspired retreat, according to Sleeper Magazine.

Named from Sanskrit for "peaceful peak," Amansanu's design by Olson Kundig integrates with the landscape of rolling hills, limestone cliffs, and winding creeks. Sleeper Magazine reports the architecture features structures positioned to follow the land's contours, framing expansive views. The property will include standalone pavilions and a limited selection of Aman-branded residences.

Amenities will encompass a Main Lodge, multiple dining venues, and an extensive Aman Spa and Wellness Centre situated along a natural creek. The resort will also feature racquet sports courts, hiking trails, and, notably, Aman's first fully serviced stables, offering a refined take on the contemporary ranch experience, as detailed by Sleeper Magazine.

Complementing the resort, a limited collection of Aman-branded residences, each on sites starting at ten acres, will mirror the resort's architectural vision with open-plan living and natural materials, emphasizing privacy and views.

Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, commented that Texas Hill Country's "rolling landscapes and an independent spirit which aligns closely with Aman’s philosophy" makes it an ideal location. He added that Amansanu "represents a meaningful evolution for Aman in the Americas," introducing a new brand expression while maintaining Aman's signature peace, privacy, and connection to surroundings, Sleeper Magazine reports.

Our take: Aman's move into Texas is a significant strategic play. While the brand has established a strong presence in unique natural landscapes like Utah's Amangiri and Wyoming's Amangani, a ranch-inspired concept in Texas presents a fresh challenge. It suggests Aman is looking to diversify its experiential offerings, tapping into a growing desire for authentic, yet ultra-luxurious, regional experiences. The success will hinge on whether Amansanu can elevate the concept beyond mere cowboy chic to deliver a truly distinctive, understated luxury ranch experience that aligns with the brand's established identity.
