- Early in Nemacolin’s history, the Hardy family acquired an adjacent property known as The Grand Lodge, which was inspired by The Ritz Paris. They enlisted architect and historical restoration expert, David Thaler, to expand and transform The Grand Lodge into a luxurious, all-suite hotel. The elegant accommodations in The Grand Lodge feature crystal chandeliers, brocade window treatments, and custom-made furnishings upholstered in rich silks and velvets.
