On June 8, 2026, Mews announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), extending its preferred property management system (PMS) status beyond Europe into the Americas and APAC. This collaboration now impacts SLH's entire portfolio of over 700 independent luxury boutique hotels across more than 90 countries.

Since 2023, Mews has served as SLH's go-to PMS provider for European properties, granting hoteliers access to preferential pricing and tools designed to enhance personalized guest experiences and streamline operations. Over 50 SLH properties currently utilize Mews, with adoption rates reportedly accelerating over the last six months.

A notable case study, Opus XVI in Norway, an early Mews adopter, has experienced substantial growth. Hospitality Net — Latest News reports that the hotel achieved a 67% increase in RevPAR and a 34% rise in ADR within a single year of implementation.

Richard Hyde, Chief Operating Officer at Small Luxury Hotels of the World, notes, "Mews has supported our European hotels, and this expansion allows more of our members to access a modern and flexible platform to support their operational needs across regions, while maintaining the individuality of each SLH property."

Our take: This expansion signals a strong vote of confidence from SLH in Mews' technology stack. The reported RevPAR and ADR increases at Opus XVI, while singular, suggest a compelling value proposition for independent luxury hotels seeking to modernize operations without sacrificing their unique identity. For SLH members, the move standardizes a critical backend system, potentially leading to more integrated guest experiences across the brand, even as each hotel retains its autonomy.
