Red Sea Global announced on July 8, 2026, the forthcoming debut of Six Senses Amaala, slated to welcome its initial guests in mid-July 2026. This launch marks a significant step forward for the Amaala destination, which is quickly taking shape.

The resort is the second collaboration between Red Sea Global and Six Senses, following the 2023 opening of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea. Sleeper Magazine reports the design draws aesthetic cues from traditional Saudi coastal architecture, seamlessly integrating into its natural surroundings of beaches, mangroves, and desert mountains.

Comprising 100 suites and villas alongside 25 branded residences, the property emphasizes a connection to the landscape. Dining options include three signature restaurants, an artisan bakery, a coffee roastery, and a cooking school. A dedicated Six Senses Spa will feature a Longevity Centre, Biohacking Recovery Lounge, Watsu pool, sound dome, and thermal facilities, offering tailored wellness programs. According to Sleeper Magazine, these programs will merge advanced technologies with holistic treatments.

Six Senses Amaala is the second resort to open within the Amaala destination. Sleeper Magazine notes that six additional properties are scheduled for phased openings throughout the year. Ultimately, Amaala Triple Bay aims to host over 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, supplemented by branded residences, wellness facilities, marinas, retail, and dining.

What this means: The rapid expansion of Amaala, anchored by prominent brands like Six Senses, underscores Saudi Arabia's ambitious Vision 2030 in luxury tourism. The emphasis on high-end wellness and sustainable design elements reinforces a clear strategy to attract discerning travelers seeking both luxury and genuine regenerative experiences. This development solidifies the Red Sea region's emerging status as a premier global wellness destination.
