Atlanta’s hotel-spa scene has entered a more ambitious era. A treatment may now begin with guided breathwork, unfold over several hours or lead into a candlelit meditation in the pool. Elsewhere, traditional facials and bodywork share space with cold plunges, compression equipment and red-light therapy.

The result is a collection of spas that feel less like hotel amenities than destinations in their own right. Here’s where to book.

The [Four Seasons](https://hauteliving.com/best/luxury-hotels-atlanta/) runs one of the city’s most complete traditional spas: 10 treatment rooms, a 62-foot heated indoor pool, wood-burning saunas, eucalyptus steam rooms, and a sun deck. The menu leans local. The Midtown Massage, created exclusively for the hotel, uses locally made lavender-and-rosemary products, and the Piedmont Park Polish, a citrus-and-alfalfa-root scrub, takes its name from the hotel’s most famous neighbor. The signature booking is Night Spa, which gives couples private after-hours use of the pool and thermal facilities, with customized massages, Champagne and light bites. Past programming has brought floating meditation and sound baths to the pool. It is Midtown’s classic counterpart to the Buckhead houses that follow.

**Book it for:** A full traditional spa day, or the most romantic after-hours booking in Atlanta.

The [St. Regis](https://hauteliving.com/2026/09/luxury-guide-atlanta/795660/) brings the same ceremony to its spa that it brings to afternoon tea. Ten treatment rooms, including a couples suite, sit alongside a Vichy shower, sauna, steam room and technology-assisted facials, and visits close in the Iridium Lounge with personalized tea, a St-Germain spritzer and sweets. Beginning November 1, the three-hour Gift of Restoration pairs two 90-minute treatments: the Himalayan Escape, with guided breathing, Tibetan singing bowls and warm salt stones, and Rose Quartz Radiance, with warm stones, botanical skin care and Hungarian-inspired facial massage. A gift is included. On weekdays, Wellness on the Go fits a 60-minute massage or facial, sauna, steam, tea, a treat tower and a drink ahead of breakfast or lunch in Astor Court. Where the Four Seasons leans romantic, the St. Regis leans celebratory.
