Two anonymous U.S. officials also confirmed to South China Morning Post that Trump's stay at the Four Seasons is anticipated for Wednesday evening, with other delegates at the Kempinski. These sources reportedly commenced preparations at the Four Seasons on Monday.

The Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, which opened in 2012, is conveniently located just 700 meters (0.4 miles) from the U.S. embassy. For his 2017 visit, Trump chose the St Regis Beijing. The Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Centre previously hosted French President Emmanuel Macron in 2023.
