Dior, the luxury fashion house, announced on June 25, 2026, a permanent partnership with Belmond's Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina, Sicily. This collaboration establishes a permanent Dior Spa within the hotel's terraced gardens, extending Dior's "Haute Wellness" philosophy to the island for the first time.

The new spa features four treatment rooms, each incorporating Dior's design language with natural materials like stone, onyx, and light-hued woods. The rooms, named Diorazur, Diorama, Rosa dei Venti, and the Isola Bella Suite, include a notable couples' space in the Isola Bella Suite, complete with a beauty room for custom makeup and an infrared sauna.

The treatment menu emphasizes bespoke experiences. A signature "Talisman of Vitality" treatment combines lithotherapy and Ayurveda, inviting guests to choose a Sicilian semi-precious gem. Offerings also include face treatments developed with facialist Hadda Akrim, body protocols such as New Look and 9 Moons, and advanced facial treatments like Kobi-Dior and Dior Powered by Hydrafacial.

For a deeper immersion, guests can book the "Dior Wellness Villeggiatura." This personalized, holistic program, co-created with Global Dior Wellness experts, Pilates specialist Byrony Deery, and nutrition expert Rose Ferguson, aims for deep regeneration through anti-inflammatory movement and hormesis.

Our take: This move by Dior signals a strategic expansion into permanent luxury wellness destinations beyond pop-up concepts. The integration with Belmond's "Slow Luxury" ethos and Sicily's "art de vivre" positions the Grand Hotel Timeo as a significant new player in the high-end spa market. The focus on bespoke treatments and comprehensive wellness programs demonstrates a clear understanding of the evolving demands of discerning luxury travelers.
