Fusion Hotel Group has officially opened LÈGACY Hanoi - A Fusion Original, an expansive 218-key urban retreat and residence in the Vietnamese capital's historic Ngoc Ha ward. Unveiled in late October 2026, the high-rise development overlooks the waters of West Lake and the surrounding city, dividing its inventory between 133 serviced apartments arranged across floors 9 to 13 and 19 to 21, and 85 high-floor hotel rooms and suites spanning levels 14 through 18.

According to reporting by Hospitality Net, the property's design narrative draws direct cues from northern Vietnamese vernacular iconography, subtly interpreting the ancient Ô Quan Chưởng gate, the serpentine flow of the Red River, and local peach blossoms. The outlet notes that arrivals are welcomed beneath an artistic rendering of the mythological chim hạc (crane) suspended above the reception foyer, where the hotel hosts an informal daily social service called 'Sparkling Moments' designed to encourage lobby camaraderie.

Accommodations range from compact 37-square-metre studios to generous 105-square-metre two-bedroom suites, as detailed by Hospitality Net. Each room is configured with private outdoor balconies and floor-to-ceiling glazing to maximise daylight and skyline panoramas. Interiors lean into organic materiality, pairing warm joinery with terracotta accents, indigo-dyed accents, and an analogue touch: vintage record players accompanied by bespoke vinyl collections.

At the operational heart of the property is YÊN Spa, deriving its name from the Vietnamese ideal of serene equilibrium. The wellness facility merges local botanical-based therapies and bodywork with an expansive hydrotherapy onsen suite, incorporating hot and cold contrasting pools, herbal steam chambers, a dry sauna, and dedicated relaxation lounges tailored to combat urban fatigue.

Dining is concentrated along the summit of the tower on the 24th floor. Here, MỘC LOFT translates traditional northern Vietnamese culinary profiles into modern fusion fare, while the adjacent 24 Social and Terrace provides an open-air roost for artisanal mixology against the city skyline. General manager Ngo Anh Doan told Hospitality Net that the project's ambition lies in establishing genuine emotional ties between guests, the neighbourhood, and Hanoi's living culture.

Our take: Fusion's entry into Hanoi’s diplomatic quarter marks a sophisticated maturation of the homegrown brand, which made its reputation on coastal, spa-inclusive resorts along central Vietnam’s beaches. By successfully transposing an onsen-centred wellness programme and residential sensibility into a vertical, urban framework, LÈGACY Hanoi offers long-stay professionals and discerning travellers a calm architectural antidote to the capital’s frenetic cadence.
